Installation Instructions

Fiber Cement Board Installation for Drywall:
1. Galvanized Metal Frame:
Fix top and bottom keels with expansion bolts; align vertical keels (612mm apart) and install lateral supports.
2. Board Material Fixing:
Cut boards 10mm shorter than wall height. Fix with tapping screws (200-250mm apart) and sink 0.5mm. Maintain a 4mm expansion gap. Secure from the center outward to prevent buckling. Optionally, fill with insulation (glass/rock wool).
Fiber Cement Board Installation for Ceiling:
1.Preparation:
*Measure the ceiling area and cut the fiber cement boards to size using a carbide-tipped saw blade.
2.Framing:
*Install a metal or wooden frame with studs or joists spaced 16 to 24 inches apart, ensuring a solid foundation.
3.Board Installation:
*Lift the fiber cement board and attach it to the frame using corrosion-resistant screws. Ensure the screws are 12-16 inches apart and fastened tightly to prevent sagging.
4.Joint Sealing:
*Leave a small gap between boards for expansion and contraction, and fill it with flexible joint compound or caulking.
5.Finishing:
*Sand the joints smooth and apply a primer or paint finish to match your design.
